What opportunities are there for community/growth in faith
Some of the regular opportunities to meet others for faith and fellowship are listed below. Check the bulletin for additional events/groups.
Men and Womens Groups meet regularly at St. Lawrence (using the "That Man is You" and "She Shall be Called Woman" programs). These programs include time for fellowship, a video presentation, and small group discussion. Check the bulletin for more details.
A Faith Formation group for adults most Thursdays at 7:30 pm at St. Lawrence, led by Darby Helms. This group is often focused on a book or video study of scripture, prayer, or other faith focus. All are welcome.
Coffee and Catholicism meets Tuesdays at 2 pm at The Bank at 301 Main in Milbank for coffee and discussion.
The St. Tabitha Sewing Group meets regularly at St. Mary's in Wilmot. See the bulletin.
Mass and Sacraments Praying together in community is a great way to connect spiritually and support one another in prayer

What opportunities are there to volunteer?
There are opportunities to serve
- as a liturgical minister (Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Usher, Sacristan, Music Minister)
- on a committee (Finance, Environment, Grounds, etc.)
- help organize events such as Fall Fun Day
- help with OCIA (hospitality, teaching, support)
- teach religious ed or volunteer to help with meals, small discussions, etc. (contact Hattie at REStLawrence@sfcatholic.org)
Every parishioner at St. Lawrence is also assigned to one of 13 Gospel in Action Committee which primarily help with funeral luncheons and monthly coffee and rolls.

Gospel in Action Committees
Every parishioner is assigned to one of 13 Gospel in Action committees which primarily help with funeral luncheons and monthly coffee and rolls. Each GIA committee has a chair that serves for one year, and identifies a chair for the following year.
If you have questions about the responsibilities of the chair, please call the office, or email secretarystlawrence@sfcatholic.org for a copy of the Gospel in Action manual.

How can I donate?
When you register you can choose to sign up for envelopes. You can also use the form available in the church entry to sign up for ACH payments electronically through your bank, either once or twice a month.

What type of donations do you accept?
We accept cash, check, retirement disbursements, IRA distributions, memorials, and physical donations such as grain or other crops.

Can I get a receipt for my donations?
Donors who have contributed $250 or more a year receive an acknowledgement letter in January every year. If you did not receive one, please contact the office and we can print an acknowledgement for you no matter the amount.
